This basement remodeling and home renovation project transforms an underused lower level into a fully integrated, modern living space while upgrading key areas of the main floor for comfort, durability, and design continuity. The basement renovation reconfigured the original layout—formerly two bedrooms without closets—into three functional rooms, each featuring custom built-in wall closets. One of the bedrooms was redesigned as a yoga and fitness room, providing a dedicated wellness space within the home. New water-resistant floating flooring was installed throughout the basement, combining durability with a clean, contemporary look—ideal for high-traffic areas and long-term performance. The fireplace was relocated to improve spatial flow and functionality, reinforcing the basement as a true extension of the main living areas. A complete lighting upgrade was central to the transformation. All fixtures were replaced with modern recessed lighting to create a warm, balanced ambiance and enhance circulation, depth, and usability throughout the basement. The basement entrance was intentionally designed as a feature space. Its walls were used to display important family artworks, turning the transition area into a mini art gallery that adds character, identity, and visual impact to the renovation. Beyond the basement, the project also included main floor renovations, featuring a fully updated powder room and a primary bathroom renovation with clean lines, custom cabinetry, integrated mirrors, and a calm, spa-inspired atmosphere. A children’s bathroom in the basement was also renovated to match the quality and design standards of the rest of the home.
