Home addition & complete interior house renovation

This project involved the full design of a 100 m² addition in the heart of Toronto, along with the complete interior layout for all new spaces. The added volume was intentionally conceived as a distinct architectural element, featuring its own materiality and color palette to create a refined contrast with the original home. Within this 100 m² expansion, the basement was enlarged, the main floor now includes a new living room and an extended kitchen with a powder room, and the upper level features a brand-new primary bedroom, walk-in closet, and primary bathroom. Although the overall design is entirely ours, the exterior shell of the addition and the new deck were completed by another company—leaving all interior construction, detailing, and finishing in our hands. High-quality materials were used throughout, guided by a warm walnut-inspired palette that brings depth and sophistication to the space. The kitchen was designed in a crisp, bright aesthetic complemented by new quartz surfaces, while the primary bathroom showcases premium ceramics, a double-sink vanity, and a carefully curated selection of fixtures and finishes. All lighting, electrical, and plumbing systems across the home were replaced and modernized to meet the needs of the new layout. The result is a beautifully integrated expansion where thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship elevate the character and functionality of the entire home.
