This renovation focuses primarily on the kitchen, upgrading it into a refined and highly functional space while extending key improvements into the living room and family room to ensure visual continuity throughout the main level. The kitchen was redesigned with a contemporary approach, featuring custom shaker-style cabinetry that brings a timeless character to the space while seamlessly connecting with the warmth of the wood-clad feature wall. This timber wall acts as the project’s defining element, adding texture, depth, and a natural focal point that anchors the overall design. White quartz countertops were selected to enhance brightness and contrast against the cabinetry and wood tones, reinforcing a clean yet inviting aesthetic. The layout prioritizes efficiency and flow while maintaining a balanced, uncluttered composition. As part of the renovation, the existing flooring in the living room and family room was replaced with high-end Swiss laminate flooring. Chosen for its exceptional durability, pet-friendly properties, and water resistance, the flooring provides a cohesive transition between spaces while supporting both performance and long-term wear. Lighting was carefully layered, combining understated pendant fixtures over the island with recessed ceiling lighting to ensure even illumination and visual comfort. Neutral finishes and precise detailing throughout the project contribute to a cohesive and timeless result. The outcome is a contemporary kitchen renovation that successfully integrates natural materials, classic detailing, and high-quality finishes, creating a warm, functional, and enduring interior.
